Liebe 2CV-Freunde aus aller Welt,
2002 haben 2CV-Freunde aus vielen deutschen 2CV-Clubs einen Welttreffen-Verein ("2CV WET 2007 e.V.) gegründet, um die Bewerbung für ein 2CV-Welttreffen in Deutschland zu organisieren.
Es ist unser Traum, ein 2CV-Welttreffen in Deutschland zu veranstalten, um den 2CV als ursprüngliches und einzigartiges Auto lebendig zu halten. Wir bewerben uns für 2013 bzw. 2015, damit dieser Traum in Erfüllung geht.
Die Bewerbung wird durch den CCRR e.V. ("Citroën Club Rhein-Ruhr") unterstützt, den Dachverband der deutschen 2CV-Clubs mit ca. 40 lokalen Vereinen und mehreren hundert individuellen Mitgliedern von der Nordsee bis zu den Alpen. Deutschland hat 2CV-Treffen-Tradition: Jedes Jahr gibt es rund 50 Ententreffen in Deutschland. Manche Clubs veranstalten ihr Treffen seit über 30 Jahren. Auf das letzte internationale Deutschlandtreffen in Gedern kamen über 400 Enten, nächstes Jahr werden in Kirkel mehr als doppelt so viele erwartet.
Wir möchten in Deutschland eine rauschende Fête mit 2CV-Freunden aus aller Welt feiern. Gleichzeitig möchten wir euch einladen, unser schönes Land auch jenseits der Autobahnen kennen zu lernen, mit allen seinen berühmten und weniger bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten, seiner Kultur und seinen einladenden Bewohnern.
Ceçi ne pas une voiture, c'est une art de vivre! Der 2CV ist kein Auto, sondern eine Lebensart. In den Sechzigern und Siebzigern wurde er zum Symbol der Liebe und des Friedens über alle Grenzen von Ländern und sozialen Schichten hinweg. Der 2CV ist ein einfaches Auto für Leute, die kein Statussymbol benötigen, die Zeit zum Genießen haben und Freundschaften schließen. Trotzdem ist er erstaunlich vielseitig und nicht zuletzt sehr komfortabel zu fahren. Diese Lebensart der Ente fasziniert bis heute Jung und Alt in aller Welt.
Wir wollen 2013 bzw. 2015 ein Welttreffen im wahren 2CV-Geist durchführen. Dies bedeutet, alte Freunde von nah und weit wiederzusehen und sich zu unterhalten, neue Freunde kennen zu lernen, zusammen zu feiern und fünf Tage Spaß mit 2CV-Spielen zu haben. Wir möchten das Show-Business und die Eintrittsgebühr im Rahmen halten. Wir und unsere Autos sind die Show - zeigen wir sie!
Das Treffen wird Ende Juli 2013 bzw. 2015 stattfinden. Dann ist Hochsommer in Deutschland, hoffentlich mit viel Sonne und heißem Wetter. Nach dem Treffen werden mehrere Raids in Deutschland organisiert. Sie führen zu sehenswerten Ecken von Deutschland, die Ihr bestimmt noch nicht kennt.
Der Treffenplatz
Als Treffenplatz favorisieren die Loreley am Rhein, die zentral in Deutschland gelegen ist und von überall auf unseren kostenlosen Autobahnen gut zu erreichen ist. Um die Loreley, einen großer Felsen am Rheinufer, rankt sich ein alter Mythos. Die Kapitäne der Lastkähne, die vorbeikamen, wurden durch eine hübsche blonde Frau, die auf dem Felsen saß und ihr langes blondes Haar kämmte, so abgelenkt, dass sie reihenweise ihre Schiffe versenkten. Heinrich Heine, ein berühmter deutscher Philosoph, machte diese Geschichte sehr populär. Deswegen ist die Loreley heute ein Muß für viele Touristen. Leider ist die blonde Dame heutzutage nicht mehr zu sehen, weil sie von den lauten Rockfestivals auf der Loreley vertrieben worden ist.
Der Treffenplatz, bekannt für seine Festivals, befindet sich über 150 Meter über dem Rheintal, und verfügt über 17 Hektar Wiese zu campen und alle notwendigen Einrichtungen für unser Treffen. Von hier kann man viele Schlösser sehen, die am Rhein aufgereiht sind und zu einem Ausflug einladen. Auf dem Weg kann man bei den verschiedensten Weingütern eine Weinprobe machen, um zu einem Kenner des Rhein-Weins zu werden. Der berühmteste Weinort ist zweifellos Rüdesheim mit seinen typischen Fachwerkhäusern. Unvergesslich ist ein Gang durch die Drosselgasse mit ihren einzigartigen deutschen Gasthäusern und Kunsthandwerksläden. Oder man kann mit einem Ausflugsboot auf dem Rhein fahren und all die historischen Orte und die Weinberge aus einer ganz anderen Perspektive sehen. Wem mehr nach Ruhe und Erholung ist, der kann eine Wanderung oder einen Fahrradausflug in die bewaldete Mittelgebirgslandschaft machen, die den Treffenplatz umgibt.
Zahlreiche Campingplätze und kleine Gasthäuser warten nach dem Welttreffen auf euren Besuch. In Deutschland gibt es für jeden etwas zu entdecken: Deutsche Dichter und Philosophen wie Goethe und Heinrich Heine ebenso, wie die vielen lokalen Bierfeste mit Blasmusik oder die Weinfeste, die im Hochsommer jedes Wochenende irgendwo stattfinden.
All dies ist schnell und einfach zu erreichen, da Deutschland im Mittelpunkt Europa am Drehkreuz aller wichtigen Fernstraßen liegt, an dem sich alle 2CV-Fahrer automatisch treffen. Erzählt es weiter, werft eure Enten an und kommt nach Deutschland! Wir freuen uns darauf, euch 2013 bzw. 2015 in Deutschland zu begrüßen!

World Meeting 2013 or 2015 in Germany!
Dear friends of the 2CV,
In 2002, 2CV enthusiasts from many German 2CV Clubs formed a World Meeting Club to organise the German bid for organising the world meeting of 2CV friends. It is our dream to have a World Meeting of 2CV friends in Germany to keep the 2CV alive as an original and unique car. We apply for the World Meeting in 2013 or 2015 to make our dream come true.
The bid for 2013 or 2015 is supported by the CCRR (Citroën Club Rhein-Ruhr) which is the organisation of some 40 local German 2CV clubs and several hundred individual 2CVers from the North Sea to the Alps. Germany has a living 2CV-meeting history: Every year, there are some 50 duck-meetings in Germany. Some clubs have been organising their yearly meeting for more than 30 years. More than 400 2CVs visited the last International Germany-Meeting in Gedern, and next year, the organisers expect more than twice the number to come to the German (Inter-)National Meeting in Kirkel.
We want to celebrate in Germany a smashing big party with 2CV friends from all over the world. At the same time, we'd like to invite everyone to explore our beautiful country beyond the Autobahn with all its renowned and less known sites, its culture and its inviting people.
The 2CV is not a car but an art of living. In the sixties and seventies, it has become the symbol of love and peace across all borders of countries and across all social borders. The 2CV is a basic car for people who need no status symbol, who have time to live and love and celebrate friendship. Still, it is amazingly versatile and - last but not least - very comfortable to ride in. Untill today, the 2CV art of living fascinates young and old people from all over the world.
The 2013 or 2015 meeting shall be a 2CV meeting in the true 2CV spirit. This means meeting old friends from near and far, telling many a story, making new friends, partying together and having five days of 2CV fun and games. We want to keep the entrance fee moderate and the show biz limited to an agreeable amount. We and our cars are the show - let's show them!
The Meeting is scheduled at the end of July 2013 or 2015. It's the height of the summer season in Germany with presumably lots of sunshine and hot weather.
After the meeting, we will arrange Raids in Germany to take you to some exciting corners of Germany you probably never have been to before.
The Meeting Place
The meeting place under close consideration is near the Loreley at the Rhine River in central Germany, easily reached from all directions by our toll free Autobahn motor-way system.
The Loreley, a large rock at the banks of the river Rhine is enshrined of a mystical old tale. The captains of the barges passing by were so enticed by a pretty blond woman sitting on the rock combing her long blond hair that they ship wrecked immediately. Heinrich Heine, a famous German philosopher, made this tale very popular. That's why the Loreley is a must for many tourists. Unfortunately you don't see the blond lady anymore because the noisy rock festivals nearby have driven her from the small mountain these days.
The meeting site, known for its festivals, is located about 150 meters above the Rhine valley, already furnished with all the facilities and infrastructure to serve our purpose. From the large meadows (about 170. 000 m²) you can see many castles lined up along the river Rhine inviting you for a sightseeing tour. On your way to these haunted castles you have to stop at a wine tasting seminar to become a connoisseur of the local whine. The most famous spot for wine drinking is Rüdesheim with its typical half-timbered homes. An experience you will never forget is to browse through the Drosselgasse with its unique German Gasthouses and shops selling German country art. If you want to go on a river cruise you will see all the historic sites, wine yards on the slopes of the valley from a different perspective. If you are looking for tranquility you can go on a hike or bike ride in the wooded middle mountains stretching out from the meeting site. Camping sites and small country hotels are pleased to accommodate you after the world meeting.
And yet there is so much more to experience in Germany, the country of the German Philosophers like Goethe and Heinrich Heine, the many local beer festivities with brass music or wine tasting festivals, all very popular at this time of the season.
All this and much more is easily accessible for you because Germany is in central Europe, the hub of all highways crossing through Europe, the crossroad where all 2CV drivers instinctively meet the flock. Let the chatter and clatter fly out into the world to call them all.

L´Allemagne se présente pour la 18eme rencontre mondiale des Amis de la 2CV (2013 ou 2015).
Le prochain pays accueuillant pour la 18eme rencontre mondiale des Amis de la 2CV en 2013 ou 2015 sera nommé pendant la rencontre mondiale à Kelso en Ecosse.
Jusqu´a ce jour sont candidats - la Tchèque et l´Allemagne.
Les pays candidats informeront sur place, sous des stands d´infos et feront leures présentations jeudi soir, le 28 Juillet sur le plateau principal à Kelso.
Dans le sachet donné à l´entrée, que chacun de nous recevra, se trouvent des billets d´élections, avec lesquels chacun de nous peut choisir, quel pays sera nommé pour la rencontre mondiale en 2013 ou 2015.
Il faut rendre ces billets d´élections le vendredi 29 Juillet,
dernier délai, 19 heures, à l´office d´informations.
Ils seront triés par pays se trouvant sur place à Kelso, puis remis aux deux représentants de chaque pays.
Ces deux représentants voteront samedi le prochain pays, lieu de la rencontre mondiale en 2013 ou 2015, ceci lors de l´assemblée des représentants.
La publication de leur décision se fera le samedi soir (30 Juillet) sous le chapiteau.
Vu que Degi (CCRR) et Edmund (2CV Club Karlsruhe) ne peuvent pas participer à la rencontre en Ecosse, ils ont demandés auprès de Thomas Führkötter (CCRR) et de Karsten Schreiber (Happy Ent´s Saarbrücken) de les représenter lors de l´assemblée et donc aussi de voter.
L´assiociation déclarée "2CV WET" se présentera pour l´Allemagne sur le plateau le jeudi soir.
Cette assiociation à étée fondée en 2002 pas des Amis de la 2CV avec énormément de soutiens de la part de nombreux clubs allemands.

C´est notre plus grand rêve, d´organiser une rencontre mondiale en Allemagne!
Cette présentation est soutenue par l´association déclarée sous le nom CCRR (Citroen Club Rhein Ruhr e. V), par l´Union des 2CV Clubs allemands avec à peu près de 40 clubs locaux et plusieures centaines de membres individuels - de la mer du Nord aux Alpes.
Nous avons une longue tradition pour les rencontres en Allemagne!
Plus d´une cinquantaine de rencontres regionales se font chaque année!
Sur la 1ere Rencontre Internationale d´Allemagne à GEDERN se sont retrouvées plus de 450 2CV sur place, pour la seconde à KIRKEL, nous en attendons plus que le double!

Dans les années 60 et 70, cette phrase était le symbole pour l´amour et la paix hors de toutes les frontières, de tous pays et des couches sociales! Cet art et espris de vivre de la 2CV facine jeunes et vieux jusqu´à ce jour, dans le monde entier!
Nous désirons organiser cette rencontre en 2013 ou 2015 sous cet esprit. Cela veut dire, rencontrer des anciens amis de partout, de construire des nouveaux liens d´amitiée avec d´autres deuchistes et Amis de la 2CV, fêter ensemble ces cinq jours avec beaucoup de plaisir, de joie, le tout autour de la 2CV"
De plus nous désirons faire le tout plus simple et moin cher (aussi le prix d´entrée).
La "Loreley", comme site pour la rencontre, avec accès très facile des autres pays européens au centre de l´Allemagne.
Ce terrain avec 17 hectares de champs pour camper et avec toute l´infrastructure nécessaire, se trouve a 150 mètres au dessus de la vallée du Rhin.
Les environs donnent énormément de possibilités pour les amis de la nature, de culture .........et de très bonnes caves.
La rencontre se fera fin Juillet 2013 ou 2015. L´été est bien installée en Allemagne, nous espérons avec beaucoup de soleil et du beau temps. Plusieures Raids vous mèneront et vous montrerons dans des coins qui vallent la peine d´être vus et que vous ne connaissez certainement pas - pas encore !!!.
